An Apprenticeship with Cowell Electric provides the perfect foundation to launch a career while working for company with excellent conditions and diverse career opportunities.

A Powerline Worker Apprenticeship is a four year program consisting of on-the job learning and training at TAFE and SA Power Networks Training Centre to cover theory components of the trade.

Cowell Electric offers Apprenticeships in two main areas:

Distribution Powerline Trade – Cert III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead

On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will have the training and qualifications to work as a Powerline Worker in the areas of construction projects, maintenance, emergency supply restoration and public lighting in both above and underground installations

Systems Electrician Trade – Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician

On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will have the training and qualifications to install and maintain high voltage electrical equipment in substations, wiring and equipment pertaining to the transmission systems as well as electrical works associated with domestic & commercial applications.
