Cowell Electric is a powerline construction and electrical contracting company with a rich and diverse history based on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

The name Cowell Electric originated in 1928 with the company formed to generate power to the township of Cowell and the surrounding farming communities. Today it has become renowned for achieving exceptional results in often adverse conditions.

REMOTE AREA SPECIALIST

Cowell Electric are specialists in working in regional and remote areas of Australia, principally for the mining and oil and gas industries, renewable energy, defence and rural land subdivisions.
Our purpose built motor vehicle fleet consist of a number of Borer Cranes, Elevated Working Platforms, Truck Mounted Cranes, Flat Top Light Trucks and 4WD Toyota Utilities.
Cowell Electrics plant replacement and maintenance programme ensures all our vehicles are site compliant and in optimum working condition. Cowell Electrics plant and equipment is specifically designed for working in remote areas and ensures that our employees have the right tools to get the job completed on time, correctly and within budget.

Being situated 100km South of Whyalla on the Eyre Peninsula Cowell Electric is perfectly located to service the regional and remote areas of not only South Australia, but Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. We also have a permanent presence in Umuwa, the main township of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara lands.
