Broken Hill – Honeymoon Mine 33kV Distribution Line

| Cowell Electric recently completed the construction of a 33kV Distribution power line combining Sureline round steel and Steel/Concrete Stobie poles. |
| The project consisted of erection of over 400 poles and the stringing of 90 kilometres utilising “Neon and Hydrogen” conductors. |

| Significant rock was encountered through the Thackaringa hills between Broken Hill and Cockburn where a 450mm diameter rock drill was employed to avoid any costly delays in the construction program. The project was completed on time and within budget. |
