| Barry completed his Diesel Mechanic Trade in 1982 with the local Holden/John Deere dealership. |
| He has been with Cowell Electric since 1988 and has during the 20 years specialised in all facets of power generation and plant maintenance. |
| Barry spent 3 years managing Cowell Electric's Alice Springs branch manufacturing and supplying generators. He then took a 4 year sabbatical from Cowell Electric working for a civil construction company in Port Lincoln. |
